"A nightlight. A source of comfort in the darkness, a glimmer of hope in dread. A signal to show the way. And yet, why does it always go out for me?" Heya! This is a story I'm creating with my most prominent ocs in a universe partly detached from the canon story. I thought it would be cool to finally turn all the thoughts I've had into an actual thing for people to read, so I hope you enjoy! Please note this story does contain violence, detailed gruesome/gory sections, drug abuse, abuse as a whole, suggestive and sexual themes at points (maybe, I doubt it) as well as a few other things. If you cannot handle these types of things in stories, it would be best to skip out on it. Otherwise, enjoy Nightlights!

Aspirations were creatures created by the gods to keep humans entertained and happy. Humans would no longer need the gods for deeds; Aspirations could do them. But what happens when a certain mortal goes looking for a particular Aspiration and ends up in a web of disaster? And what happens when the dark and destructive past of that Aspiration breaks from its cage and seeks revenge? This is my first time sharing a story I've created so I hope you all enjoy! I also draw a lot so some of the chapter pictures are done by me to give some visuals of the characters. It's a little bit of a slow start but gets really chaotic toward the end. There are TW in this story just in case. I think after writing this I might need to go to therapy. I swear I'm not crazy!
