Like the planet earth and the moon, they always orbited around one another, creating bonds of invisible strings stronger than any fight or any other person in their lives.
How tender their day was becoming when softly their eyes were meeting when no one was noticing. How calm and peaceful their night was when closer than possible they were holding each other praying that they wouldn't be separated at any cost.
Being only best friends was a heavy burden but it had always cost them less than just being nothing to one another.
All the heart aches, the tears and the pain from not completely belonging to each other was better than just being nothing.
That's what they were, more than friends. But unfortunately less than lovers.
