So many heartbreaks. How many heartbreaks can one man take? It hadn't been many, but Quackity lost count quickly. Could he have another chance at love? But with who? After so many years of feeling dead, inside, and outside, he forgot how it felt to be truly happy. To be alive. To love. He completely forgot, after decades of limbo, he forgot how to truly live. All of this is written in a timeline that is close to the canon timeline that we are shown, but it is not exactly the same as you will read later on. This is all characters, even if Quackity's real name is used a few times, this is NOT shipping the CC's. No smut (SURPRISING FOR MY USUAL READERS!), just fluff, and angst. The two dated for a few years, Alex growing more and more aware of who he was dating, he ended up leaving the man and 3 years later taking in his son after Schlatt died of a heart attack. . . . On Wilbur's 13th year in the institution, he was sure he would just be stuck in this Limbo, left to wait until he finally died, no one could help him and it seemed that no one wanted to help him.
