Book one in the slayer series book two is what have I become:
Zanara and Jelani were always different, shapeshifters since birth and friends since school but things changed.
Zanara and Jelani made a slayer promise to never fall in love with one another but Jelani has been relying on Zanara for far too long. Not only being friends but combat partners they find and hunt werewolves and vampires. One night they find themselves overun by werewolves and darkness overcomes both of them. They wake up in a castle, owned by Damon, he will change....everything. Damon is not only the prince of the vampire realm but also an illegal breed of vampire, werewolf and another unknown breed. Zanara turns to Damon and realizes who she is and must be to save the vampire realm.
 All this happens while Jelani's brother, Ty is across the world and taken as a prisoner by Damon's brother. But will something good actually come out of being trapped? Will Jelani fight for Zanara's love and listen to his heart or will Zanara have pushed him too far away that he'll finally realize that she doesn't want him?
