It's September 2009, first day of Junior year for Charlie Williams. Charlie moved from Upstate New York to a small town in Virginia called Mystic Falls.

Charlie has had a long hard life. It all started when her parents got a divorce when she was only 3 years old. Her dad living in New York and her mom living in Virginia.

Charlie's dad died from a random shooting on the street and now she's going to live with her mom. Little does she know her life is going to take a complete turn.
