Little Did I know

If you asked anyone in the town of Night'N Gale about Roxanna Mistfield, they would likely say that she was an intelligent, kind, bright young woman who would have plenty of opportunities for her future. What those who knew wouldn't say, was that most of those fated opportunities- she had no idea were even in the realm of their existence. Most of the creatures her age had shifted, and had fully gone through the culling soon after their 16th birthday. Roxanna however, seemed like she would never shift, and those who knew of her secret stopped waiting for anything to happen and refused to tell her about the world they lived in. Some even falling into despair, because of what it would mean if Roxanna didn't shift and complete the culling.

Soon after her eighteenth birthday, she began to act strange- and even felt like something in her was different. Her sister- Rihanna- noticed, and began to prepare because after the signs began to show you would have three weeks before the shift, but it was too late. Roxanna was suddenly thrust into a world she had no clue existed, nor knew she was a part of. She was now expected to prepare to lead her people- people she had known all her life, but had no clue just how tied together their fate was.

Including the Wattkins. More specifically; Keith Wattkins.

Authors note-
This story begins with highschoolers but they will not be in highschool the entire time and all of them are around the ages of 17-19. We aren't doing a book about a dumb 16 year old girl who is emotional erratic. (nothing wrong with those books if that's what you like- I however do not as an adult woman.) This story does contain mature content such as sex, cursing, possibly even some gore. If I write anything I believe could be triggering that chapter will have a warning.
