"A dream-like love in a life-like nightmare."

Sometimes you meet people and you instantly know they came into your life for a reason. After that, you don't reason much with yourself, your feelings or your heart.

You dream they become a part of your life - a part of you.

But that is exactly where everything went wrong in my story. I saw him and after that I couldn't take my eyes off him until I feared looking into his eyes again.

You believe you know someone until you realise that you never knew them from the very start.

The people you knew do not even take a second to become the people you don't.

The pain you feel then is obscured.

You can't tell what hurts more: them turning into strangers in a matter of a few seconds or you pretending you never knew them.

You hate them, but can't stop your heart and your body from craving for them - yearning for their touch and that is when you lose this game where rules are what he makes, where winning was never an option where losing was your fate.

And everything you knew about yourself becomes obscure.

Where losing yourself is the only way to find yourself and where everything you thought was the truth turns into an undeniable lie.

But soon you realise that the only truth about this world that you needed to know was - everything in this world was obscure.

Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

This is the story of a girl born with an extraordinary gift-one that set her apart from the very moment she took her first breath. Ever since birth, she has been haunted by visions that intrude upon her waking hours and even invade her sleep. These spectral images and whispers, seen and heard only by her, have always been a double-edged sword: a mysterious window into another world and a constant source of torment. From childhood, her unusual abilities isolated her from her peers. While other children played freely, she was burdened with a secret world that no one could understand. Desperate to share her experiences, she once confided in her mother, only to be met with disbelief and dismissal. "It's all in your head," her mother insisted, leaving her to face the inexplicable alone. As she entered high school, her strange behavior and the eerie phenomena that accompanied her made her an easy target. Teasing and ridicule became a daily ritual at the hands of classmates who could not comprehend her reality. Yet, despite the relentless bullying, she never retaliated-not out of weakness or fear, but because she was determined never to inflict pain on anyone, even those who scorned her. Everything began to change when one fateful day, a young man stepped forward. For the first time, someone saw beyond her oddities and recognized the courage and compassion within. He defended her against the cruelty of others, sparking a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, she wasn't meant to be alone. In this haunting and heartfelt journey, she must learn to embrace her gift, unravel the mysteries of the visions that both curse and bless her, and navigate the delicate balance between isolation and acceptance in a world that fears what it does not understand.

(This book is a representation of my experiences with dating someone with depression in high school. I wrote it while we were dating, subconsciously writing him into the character Infinity. I will say that I intend to rewrite this at some point to send a better message, as I feel some of the actions in this book are unhealthy reactions to depression, that I have a much better perspective of now) [I'm also working on a VN based on this story.... If my studies would stop getting in the way]
