Corpse Party is a game that consists of high school students playing with the Sachiko Ever After Charm and being transported to a haunted school. Some are hanged, some fall to their deaths and others are murdered by their own friends. The once game was soon put into an anime and because of that, a group of otaku's discover this. One dark night at school they decided to try the charm and are transported to Heavenly Host Elementary School. While being chased by ghosts, these ten students suffer from death, crying and are stalked by Sachiko herself. With a whole lot of knowledge about this game/anime/manga they think they can all make it out alive, but they're wrong.

He had of course found it impressive how what was most likely a lie was so widely believed with little proof that it wasn't just some made-up concept used for our own entertainment and to explan day-to-day inconveniences. But he had never actually been convinced that something as far-fetched as anguished and disturbed souls wandering the face of the earth looking for vengeance or to finish something they never got to in life.
