One kiss. One injury. One lie. What else could possibly go wrong - or right - in Jack Carter's life?

***

After transferring to Brentwood Academy on a full-ride running scholarship for his last year of high school, Jack knows he's only achieved step one of his master plan. Step two to step four? Impress Sebastian King, the captain of the relay team, so he can join the team as their fourth runner and help them win gold at that year's regional championships. After that? He just needs to get into some prestigious university far, far away, so he'll never have to go back to his mom's house full of junk.

But kissing Sebastian King was never part of the plan. Not when it throws all the other steps out the window.

Now, as this one-time thing with Sebastian starts to develop into something real, Jack realizes there's more to life than just running - both on the track, and away from his problems. But as more and more of his life upends, and the future of the team gets called into question, he'll find himself torn between staying loyal to his friends...or finally making his great escape.

REVISED:The Boy With A Touch Of Cancer (BxB) by Jeanne_Wolf
32 parts Complete Mature
"Leo pinned me against the wall with his hips. His hands gently gripped my wrists, keeping my arms above my head against the cool brick behind me. His quicksilver eyes were filled with such an intense, carnal desire I couldn't even look into them, so I looked over his shoulder. I saw a few kids from the group standing out by their cars who would easily be able to see what we were doing...or at least what Leo was doing to me. At that moment, my mind started wandering to all the things that I could be doing to him right now...but I stopped that train of thought immediately, as it started heading to all the wrong places... All the dirty places. I glanced back at Leo. His gaze was still as intense as it was before. He smirked at me and said confidently, "You can't ignore me forever, Ethan. You're eventually gonna fall for my charms..." Ethan Carter was focused on 2 things. 1. School (obviously) and 2. Getting over ex (it's proving to be, harder than he thought), but now he has to add dying to that list, and suddenly having feelings for a boy. Leo Malone makes Ethan feel things he's never felt for another guy. Leo's sweet, patient, and understanding...the only problem is, he's a guy. Ethan tries to ignore the fact that his heart flutters every time he sees Leo, or that he can't ever stop thinking about him, but if having cancer has taught him one thing, it's that you have to live in the present, as you may not have a future.

The Really Attractive Project Partner [BxB]

11 parts Complete

✨ "Well, I think it's a shame you're not gay." Leo said eventually. Calvin turned to him. "Oh really? And why is that?" He asked, almost chuckling. "Because I really want to fucking kiss you right now." Leo said with a serious expression on his face. Calvin was going to laugh, when he realized the redhead was being genuine. ✨ ____________________________________ Leo is an introvert by heart. He doesn't like talking with strangers, or most people, for that matter. But when he is assigned a shy science project partner, Calvin, the two seem to hit it off. Friendship had always been hard for both of them- but not with each other. Except when that friendship quickly develops into something more, and one pair of parents objects extremely. That's the hard part. Both heartbroken, they eventually split their separate ways, and Leo does something he may regret forever. And may not want to ever, ever tell Calvin. Will high school, friends, and parents tear them apart?
