*I have restarted and am in the process of rewriting this story from the beginning.*

Rowan is a 17 year old orphan on the cusp of 18. She lives with her best friend Victoria and Victoria's dad, Connor. Rowan lives an average boring life, and that's just the way she likes it. Until one day, a stranger comes into town and shakes up everything. Secrets will be revealed, lies will be exposed, and Rowan will have to fight to hang on to any shred of normal as her life is blown apart. But will she even want her old life back when the truth comes out and the dust settles? Was her life really ever normal to begin with when even her friends aren't who she thinks they are?

Rowan is a normal teenage girl. Well, if being a demon in hell counts as normal. She takes place in a Clan in the underworld, filled with different types of demons and even hybrids like herself. When an "accidental" overhearing puts her in the position to be chosen for a mission she doesnt know what to expect. Since Rowan has never been a teen in the overworld (aka our world), she's not sure how she feels about going to the local highschool. She'll soon have to deal with it. But mission impossible becomes even more impossible due to her sudden feelings towards her target. Will she fight against her own Clan to save this hybrid that's never stepped foot in hell? Or will she soon feel his blood on her own two hands?

Excerpt only: I quickly run in their direction as my claws elongate into fierce points. I watch as a man in all black strikes down and kills one of the innocent packless men before turning to another. I make a flying leap to attack and am suddenly hit with a strong, overwhelming scent of vanilla and citrus. "Mate!" My wolf yells in my head. My conviction evaporates and confusion hits me, but I don't have time to think about what this means.
