Are you content with yourself? Did you give me an instant answer or did you hesitated to even say yes to that? Have you wondered why most people wait for things to come? for somebody to compliment them, to shower them with love, to give them the absolute world? Read the first sentence again. Do you believe in yourself? if yes how much? If your love once said that you're idea is not realistic would you still believe that you can do it? This is what we need, constantly questioning ourselves because nobody will do this for you.
I'm not a psychiatrist or a counselor I may or may not solve your life problems. I just want to share my personal experience that get me to where I am today. I'm not perfect but I am human, if all you could take from this book it would be in believing in your own power. Nyx Davis is a 15-year-old biracial, student-athlete, exploring life with her friends, Matteo, Viv, Kaylee, and Chris. Along with her brothers Denzel and Theodore. New friendships arise and so does romance. Tension with her academics becomes more overwhelming than what she expected. As sad as it may be, we live in a world where the rich are getting richer, and the poor live in worse conditions every day. A world where people have to live behind masks and hide who they truly are, just to be accepted into this corrupted society. A world where everyone primarily thinks of himself and not about what he could to help his brother in need? Dive into my vision, be bold enough to read these chapters, and accept that you may have also been committing these mistakes that corrupt our society and together, let us grow into better versions of ourselves and begin to wonder; what if this had happened to me?
