Since demons were eradicated from Japan and Quirks had taken over the entire planet, there is no need for the demon slayers that had protected humanity for eons. One of the blood Kamado's, Ryuko, takes it into her own hands to show the rest of the world the sacrifices her ancestors made to protect humanity. She had plans to take this ambitious dream and build it from the ground up, however, an event that happens ten years ago gives Ryuko the boost she needs.
