I honestly didn't realize how broken I was. I just figured that if I shut all my feelings out that they would go away. They didn't. They came back strong as ever. And I did the worst thing that I could do. I let my feelings get the best of me. My daddy told me to never let anyone walk over me. And yet that is exactly what everybody does. I'm a bit of a mess and Matt gets it, he gets me. Maybe there's some slim possibility that perhaps true love isn't just made up. Maybe it came for me, maybe it tracked me down and chose me. I wouldn't trade my best friend for anyone else in the world. He's amazing, funny, supportive, and everything that is great.
