The tomb which held the prophecy was believed to be burned in a fire 18 years ago. After the fire the prophecy was slowly forgotten about, fading into just a myth.

8 years passed without Genevieve running into her own family. On the way to see her father, she conveniently runs into a stranger and her younger sister at a club known as pandemonium.

It's Friday the 13th. Magnus is late for work. Again because of his cat. He's locking up his apartment when he gets a phone call that he's been fired. Alec was supposed to move into his new apartment that day, but the landlord left him the wrong key. Alec has been sitting on the stairs outside the apartment for an hour and a half. This is the moment when their paths cross. NOTE: So it all started when I saw this picture. I immediately put aside the other 2 stories I was writing, and started this one. I look into his eyes and there are the stories. This pic is driving me crazy. (The pictures used in this book are taken from the internet. Credit to the rightful owner.) (I don't own any of the characters. All belongs to Cassandra Claire. The story is my own, it is not related to Shadowhunters. I only use the names to make it easier to relate to the story)
