Dawn is a now 18 year old female who has been hurt in the past, both mentally and physically. When she was 5 years old her parents, Victor and Ness Lawson died in a fire along with her brother Kol Lawson. Dawn has always been a fast wolf, when her parents where still alive she could keep up with them. This obviously was unusual considering her age, because of this her father always made sure she didn't show anyone her speed. The Lawson family lived out in the forest. They where not part of any pack, this didn't mean they didn't respect any of the packs. In fact the Lawson family wanted peace between all supernatural creatures. This obviously made them lots of enemies because not everyone wanted peace. The fire that killed Dawn's family was intentional, the only reason Dawn survived is because she wasn't in the house when it happened. Her parents trusted her to go out for runs herself as long as she stayed in the area that her family owned. Dawn was out on a run like she does every night before she goes in for dinner. Her parents was making dinner and her brother was in his room playing with his toys. The fire was lit and within minutes the house was consumed. Dawn saw smoke while she was on her run and went to it. She saw the house on fire and because she was 5 she couldn't do anything. She watched as her house burned to the ground, still crying she remembered what her parents said to her. "If anything happens to us promise you will keep moving, keep your brother safe and don't look back." The only problem is she couldn't keep her brother safe, he was gone. Once she had calmed down she got up off the ground and ran. She never stopped moving. Ever since that day someone had been watching her. She decided to move to try and get away from everything so she moved to New Orleans to try and live a normal life. So what is next for Dawn? Who will she meet? Who will be friends and who will be foe?

"Shift." His voice hit me like a serrated blade as he stepped out of the crude semicircle of hardened wolves that had formed around me. I pushed myself off of the cold floor for what felt like the thousandth time that day, wiping the small trail of blood coming off of my lip and down my chin. "I won't ask you again." My limbs felt like lead, these wolves had been at me for hours trying to get me to shift into my wolf, unbeknown to them was that their efforts would forever be futile considering the fact my wolf wouldn't make an appearance for me even when I begged. I seriously doubted she would suddenly pop up as a result of their abusive tactics. Instead of explaining my circumstances, driven by a bizarre combination of adrenaline and fatigue, I leaned back on my heels and sent the largest loogie I'd ever conjured flying over and landing squarely between the eyes of the man before me. oOoOoOoOoOo As a late bloomer who was incapable of shifting yet, let alone making any contact with her wolf, Olive Ludovic's life was not off to the best start. Growing up, constantly being tormented and taunted by those around her forced Olive to grow a tough skin and work even harder, despite the fact she was without her wolf. When her home is taken over by a dark pack, life seems to only get worse for Olive as it is quickly discovered that her mate is none other than Matteo, the Alpha of the very pack that was terrorizing her people. My movements are as fast as a striking snake, tearing out his throat in such a swift movement there's barely any mess. I look into his eyes as he raises his hands to his neck, falling to the ground in a light thump. I walk back and pick up the lavender dress, admiring my smiling reflection in the mirror as the tragically human butler bleeds out onto the expensive Russian rug. --- Some plot lines and moments of the Originals has been altered for this story.
