After a horrifying event two lovers are trapped within their Venetian vacation home. Tensions rise as they're forced to scavenge, worried that their fight for survival might be fruitless. Elena worries the Egyians have already found them, and are closing in to turn them at any moment. Vittoria doesn't see it that way, and soon a quarrel breaks out. A fight for what's important between two lovers will make them question their belief's, and what's important in a relationship. Is individuality the most important part of life? Or is it the people you spend it with? Could conformity bring peace, or will it tear people apart?

I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people.
