1 Year after they left for Oxford, Peter and Gwen are now back in New York City and newly married too. They had left thinking that Venom was gone, along with Harry Osborne. Harry is dead. But Venom could still return... When the couple celebrate some good news, Gwen has a run in at a bar with a guy named Eddie Brock, which causes a riot between him and Peter. Later that night, Eddie runs into Venom who convinces him to become his new host based on one common interest; They both hate Peter. What happens when Eddie accepts and a new threat emerges, attempting to tear down everything that Peter and Gwen have worked so hard to build?
