In a world where 80% of people have superhuman abilities called "Quirks",  a young boy named Izuku Midoriya disappeared from his house one morning. The law enforcement officials couldn't figure out what had happened to the boy so they concluded that he had most likely been killed and was dead somewhere. That was until he reappeared in the normal world fourteen years later on his 18th birthday.
