He knew the creature was hungry. He knew it had not fed. He had felt the pain gnawing in his stomach. He fought for control but the creatures power was growing. He was already losing control. The creature was too powerful and he could feel himself slipping into the infinite darkness as the creature escaped and his body was once again taken from him. A short story depicting the hunt of one of the most famous predators in gothic fiction; predator incarnate itself - the werewolf.

The Darkness of Beasts and Men
This is a short story about a young man and an incident he (somewhat) overcomes. This is a werewolf story, yes, but not a cliche-d one I hope, as it includes much more unhappiness and gore and such. There is no swearing, no nasty in-bed stuff, but there is gore. I mean, animal-mauling-blood-everywhere gore. Sorry, but in a werewolf reality, it would be rather dark and disturbing. If you do not like those things, please do not read for your own sake. Other than that, mild humor included. No idea if I'm going to write another story with the same sort of people or not, so I will get back to you later about that. Anyways, have fun and good luck.
