I can't believe she's back.
Eris...
She's my friend. She was there for me when no one else was, but she disappeared when I met Joseph. But now she's back.
But I'm the only one who can see her.
Well, she is my reflection. An extension of myself. A better version of me. She's everything I'm not.
Beautiful. Confident. Strong.
Not like me.
Scarred. Timid. Weak.
However, I'm trying to do better.
Things are different now - I'm learning Magic. Chise and I are closer than ever, but she's not letting me live my life.
Joseph... is changing. It's a strange, but pleasant change.
I'm free, but there's so much pressure on me. I can't lose control - my freedom is on the line.
And Eris... she's my friend...
So why is she trying to make me lose control?

CURRENTLY EDITING "You belong to me - completely. I can do whatever I want to you, and no one can tell me otherwise. You're mine, Chisa Hatori; my little Starling..." I start sobbing, shaking my head frantically, rejecting the terrible truth. I thrash in his arms, trying to get away. Joseph laughs at my efforts, only tightening his grip until I can't move. The fingers of his right hand find my chin, forcing me to turn my head to the right. My blurry sight is greeted by his cool grey eyes, my stomach churns. He presses his forehead against mine - the mere physical contact has me shaking. "Do you know why the fae call you, The Alchemist's Starling?" I can't answer him... I'm lost in my own emotions. "The fae can sense you," he continues, "just as they can sense Alchemists. They saw your unique, purple locks fluttering in the wind when we went outside together - like the wings of a Starling. Of course, their kind adore you, and loathe us Alchemists. The fact that they cannot have you, makes them sad. Of course, because they saw you with me - they recognised that you were mine." Someone help me... Save me from him... ***** Chisa Hatori has had a hard life. Her father left, she watched her mother die, she was torn away from her sister and placed in foster care. What's Wrong with Emma?

8 parts Ongoing

I was happy with all the simple things I had, cherishing the way life flowed effortlessly, never complaining or asking for more. Everything felt normal. Everything was beautiful. Everything was perfect-until it unexpectedly turned worse. Just like that, without warning and without preparation. Destiny proved to be merciless. It stripped me of all the precious things I held dear, leaving me with nothing. Emma Anderson had lost her zest for life after an accident that shattered her world. She tried to start anew, but the nightmares of that fateful day haunted her, lurking in the shadows of her mind. Things grew even more complicated when she unexpectedly crossed paths with her childhood friend again. He resurrected all the bitter memories she desperately sought to forget. Jason Williams had always taken Emma for granted, viewing her merely as a friend. But as life unfolded, they lost touch, and the void left behind felt insurmountable. After dating countless girls, Jason came to a profound realization: Emma was the only one who had ever loved him for who he truly was, not for his wealth or fame. He missed his old friend. Now that she had reentered his life, he was determined to rekindle their friendship. But what would happen when he discovered that the girl he once knew was no longer the same? What changes had taken place during the years they spent apart?
