A modern take of the lore of Persephone and Hades, with inspiration derived from the official comic and WebToons series "Lore Olympus" created by Rachel Smythe. While this story utilizes main ideas from this series, my telling is a reinterpreted version that delves into much more adult themes and controversial material. My goal is for this adaption to elaborate upon the reality in which the main character finds herself in, while also digging deeper into the impossible connection amongst the two main protagonists- Persephone and Hades. *** Sephie, a goddess ashamed of the name bestowed upon her after a traumatic incident she refuses to recount, falls for a random guy she meets one night at a bar. As a new citizen of Olympus, a place she was only ever allowed to imagine growing up, Sephie soon comes to find out exactly why her mother chose to harbor her in the Mortal realm. Little does she know that the man she has found herself infatuated with represents more than just a handsome God she's briefly met, but something that conflicts with her core being. Her growing feelings for the man she knows as Aidoneus makes her question every vow she's ever taken with her mother- including that of eternal maidenhood. Is it fate that she met Hades when she did? Or will their love wither in the face of everything the universe has in store for them? ~ "Through his glory and integrity he has given us his promises that are of the highest value. Through these promises you will share in the divine nature because you have escaped the corruption that sinful desires cause in the world." 2 Peter 1:3-5, GOD'S WORD Translation (GW)

What would you do if, after getting drunk in a party and passing out somewhere you don't remember, you woke up in a cart that is pulled by a horse with two people speaking weird language and wearing white sheets over their bodies? You panic, obviously. Era never believed in Gods and magic. Why? Because it wasn't explained by scientists. She doesn't even change her view when she is thrown down the time hole and back to the ancient Greece -time when people believed in everything, especially Gods of the Olympus. But her talk of "Gods don't exist" lands her into a festival of the Gods - a festival where people marked by one of the Gods of the Olympus fight for their life by performing something sociated with the god that they represent. And she is supposed to survive when she is marked by the God of the Underworld himself. He goes by the name of Hades. 2# in Festival 2018/05/20 123# in Gods 2018/05/26 2# in Ancient Greece 2018/05/31 Cover by PhoenixOfStorys
