March 2001. World Championship Wrestling was bought out by The World Wrestling Federation. A little while later,  the final WCW Monday Nitro was aired.

For years many companies tried to be like WCW but failed. That was until All Elite Wrestling was formed.

After a few years, AEW was still booming, however both Tony Khan and Turner Broadcasting wanted to try something new and different. So, the decision has been made to bring WCW back!!!

Talent was released and signed to make WCW the ultimate brand it can be!
