Precious little rich girl Harper Clock has a love for animals, and knows that she wants to pursue her DVM career after high school. So when Lora Hudson, a family friend, asked the Clocks to dogsit her French Bulldog while she travels to Portugal for two weeks, Harper did not hesitate to give a helping hand.

But this dog-sitting gig comes with a catch: Lora's lonely poor boy son, Tiago Nogueira, is to come over twice a day to help Harper walk the Frenchie so he won't get too homesick.

Harper's first ever interaction with Tiago is when he rings the doorbell on day one of the dog-sitting gig and Harper doesn't know what to expect for the next two weeks that she has to see him.

But as time flies during this gig, the last thing she expected was to build a bond with the lonely poor boy from the south side of town, and she did not realize how much she would enjoy his company during their daily walk with the Frenchie.
