Kali is alone, the last surviving shifter in a world full of witches, fairies, werewolves, and vampires. After her family was brutally murdered by the King Vampire, Dominic Forten, she has been on a mission to seek vengeance. She became a bounty hunter in hopes to improve her skills enough so that one day she might be able to kill Forten. Sadly, all of the times she attempted to murder him, he knew she was coming before she even arrived, thanks to having a small amount of her blood in his body, which allows him to know when she is near.
So, she retired from that life and now lives peacefully in Hawaii, until a werewolf shows up...and changes her life. She's suddenly dragged back to the werewolf compound in Hawaii, where bad memories and nightmares exist to haunt her, both day and night.
Meanwhile, she's teamed up with the Werewolf Prince, Ryder, and a group of old friends. Ryder made a deal with her, if she helps him get to Forten, she gets to kill him.
But can she hide her secret?
