THE CAGE

They taught me to fly when I thought of the cage as my world and destiny, telling me the outside world is even more beautiful and promising to let me go and live my life there. They also showed me vivid dreams of flying freely above the clouds. But when I tried to pass leaving the cage I felt I was forcibly dragged and my wings were crushed. The cage which I once called home became a cellar trapping me inside closing all the doors for me. Even if I died to escape this cage, I felt like my soul was still imprisoned.
