Liam Opaline is one of the five children of Duke Opaline.

The Duke has four sons and one daughter. But amongst the four sons, only one is a girl. The real name of Liam Opaline is (Y/n), Only she and her mother knew her real identity. Her mother wanted a son, but instead, she had a daughter. She was disappointed. She was the first wife, but his concubines were the ones who had sons. Why couldn't she produce a male heir? Why must it be a girl.. it would have been much easier if she had been a boy.

She didn't hate her daughter, though she was still disappointed. She still loved her nonetheless. She is still her daughter.

(Y/n) wore a ring that had a spell to disguise herself as the opposite gender. She wore it for obvious reasons so she would not be found out. She was given private etiquette lessons for noble ladies in secret and learned swordsmanship and more.

But because of her secret and fear of slipping up and being exposed. She never really had any friends. Though she didn't mind, she was always busy with school and homework anyway.

But that all changed when she quite literally runs into the princess and her Jewels. ♡♡♡
