In the depths of the grim darkness that shrouds the 41st millennium, the Astartes stand steadfast as the stalwart defenders of humanity. With hearts as cold as the void, these unyielding warriors wield the Emperor's fury as their own, crushing all who would dare threaten the Imperium.

Yet, one such champion of humanity has been wrenched from his own time and space, finding himself cast into a realm beyond even his imagining. Here, in a world where twisted psykers roam free, the Astartes must confront a reality that defies all he has ever known.

Accustomed to a life of war and destruction, how will this embodiment of humanity's wrath react to a world where mortal men live among the very creatures he has been bred to destroy?

This is my go at a VALORANT fanfiction; this will be using a character I created (that you, reader, will be in the POV of.) I apologise if it sucks, I'm trying my best. *** Mountains, ice and snow. This was all Everest knew and understood; until a freak accident that occurred on her descent from Mount Everest completely turned her life upside down. Fearful of her sudden new abilities, she cut herself off from everyone around her, isolating herself to prevent anyone accidentally getting hurt. News reporters had shared her early discovery of her abilities to the world, even without her consent.Nobody saw her after that, and wondered where one of the greatest mountaineers of their time had disappeared to. From afar, she watched strange men in laboratory coats and armed guards take people away from her town. Family, friends, neighbours. She didn't know who these people were, or why they were doing it, but she had a solid theory. That they wanted her, and were using those close to her to draw her out of hiding. To try and control her, to kill her, she didn't know. A new organisation contacted her out of the blue after a while, offering safety and help with her new abilities. What she didn't know, was this invitation would change her life. For better or for worse, we'll find out. * Action starts to ramp up chapter 10+. Hang in there and have some fun, thanks for coming along with the ride! ** - Updates most likely every two-three days from now on - TWs include: slight swearing. Violence. Slight manipulation. Implied torture.

They were born from the stars, but the world refuses to let them stay. It has been three years since the Genesis Flares, the solar phenomenon that gave birth to Astrans: beings with abilities beyond human comprehension. Some see them as miracles, others as abominations but to those in power, they are a threat that must be controlled, exploited, or eradicated. Fear spreads like wildfire, and war is inevitable. Among the displaced and the hunted, a survivor fights to carve out a future for her people, refusing to let them be erased from history. By her side stands the one who saved her, a sister in all but blood, a friend who has vowed to protect her, even if it means keeping dangerous secrets. As alliances fracture and loyalties are tested, they must navigate a world that has already decided what they are: enemies. In the heart of the conflict, two minds once dedicated to progress now wrestle with the weight of their own creations. One, a scientist bound by failing health, seeks to undo the greatest mistake of his life before time runs out. The other, an engineer thrust unwillingly into war, struggles between duty, regret, and the burden of being the only one left to fight. Lines blur between vengeance and justice, survival and sacrifice. The choices they make will determine not only the outcome of the war but the future of the Astrans themselves. Before the war, before the fear, they were all the same. They were all stardust once.

The valorant protocol, an elite group of the best humanity has to offer. Consisting of humans and radiant's alike, they are the forefront of earth's defence to stop threats both in world... and out. A second universe (dubbed earth 2) has opened a portal to invade and pillage Earth 1 of all its radianite without regard for the devestation they bring, leaving earth 1 to suffer the loss of its leading energy source. Earth 2, a world in which radiants revolted and overthrew the humans. Those who were slaughtered were considered lucky to the resistance as the alternative was to be forcefully converted to radiants through a process only known by the highest of the radiants. The resistance was a group of humans (lead by commander brimstone) that fought back against the radiants but, unfortunately, they were snuffed out until all that remained was a small group consisting of 5 humans and a robot specifically made to combat the unnatural power of radiants. In an effort to stop the radiants plans of invading another dimension, this group attacked the portal site in hopes of shutting the gateway down. However... they failed. Among his fallen team, y/n glared at the leader of the radiants as he sat bleeding out in the dirt. "Look me in the eyes human. This is the last thing you'll ever see, a reminder of your failure" "..." "No final words? hmph, your choice" *BANG* _______________________________________________________ "How am I alive?" "Our healer revived you, you should consider yourself lucky she found you so soon. 5 minutes later and you would have experienced brain death" "A radiant saved me? hmph, should have just left me" "your opinion on radiants is unimportant to me. You come from the dimension that is invading us, you've fought against those that are invading us. I could do with that expertise" "You want me to fight for you?" "No... I want you to fight WITH me" "... my fight ended when that bullet went through my head" "Hmmm.. we'll see about that"

She's certain this is where her journey ends-until she realizes she's wrong. Phoenix Knight is the iron-fisted warden of Atlanta Prisonhouse, feared by every woman under his control. His pleasure comes from their suffering, from breaking them, bending them to his will. But when Valora enters his domain, everything shifts. There's something about her-something sharp, dangerous, poisonous-that draws him in. On one hand, he's repulsed by her icy demeanor, her unyielding nature. On the other, he's irresistibly allured by her presence, by the fire that simmers beneath her calm exterior. For the first time in years, Phoenix is out of control. And he hates it. Valora is no ordinary prisoner, and Phoenix is no typical captor. Their dynamic is a volatile cocktail of aggression, manipulation, and raw tension. Each encounter between them ignites a new spark, a dangerous push-pull of venomous desire that neither of them can resist. They are two forces of destruction, locked in a dance that threatens to undo everything they've ever believed in. The real question is: How far will they go to destroy each other? And in the end, who will be left standing, and at what cost? [Second Book of the V-Series] A Standalone Novel Complete.

In the age of the Great Crusade, when the Emperor's light sought to pierce the endless dark, there was one who rose among the stars with a vision of unity and strength. He was Gaius Aurelius Regulus, the Primarch of the Second Legion, the Argent Eagles, forged by fate to bring order to chaos and peace to the shattered realms of Man. His was the voice of reason amid the clamor of war, his blade the instrument of Imperial justice. From the ashes of fractured worlds, he wove alliances; from the ruins of defiance, he built empires. Yet even as his conquests brought glory to the Imperium, shadows gathered around him. For in the Imperium of Man, loyalty is both a virtue and a burden, and the price of unity is often paid in blood. As the tides of betrayal and ambition rise, Regulus must confront the eternal question: does the dream of order justify the cost of sacrifice? In the crucible of war, his Legion will stand as a testament to the indomitable will of humanity-or as a warning to those who would place hope in fragile bonds of trust. So begins the tale of the Second Legion: warriors, builders, and unifiers, born to soar above the stars as Argent Eagles. Their triumphs are written in fire, their legacy etched in shadow. For in the grim darkness of the 31st Millennium, even the noblest ideals can be shattered by the unyielding march of fate.
