Hannah Dalton, a girl just out of college gets a new job as a rich mans daughter's private tutor. The girl is lovely but her father, Thomas Hanover, is a man who hasn't been into town in years and stays locked inside his room. There are also rumors going around town that Thomas murdered his wife, Sarah, who everyone that works at the Hanover house claims Hannah resembles strongly. Hannah soon becomes determined to find out what really happened to cause Sarah's murder. And as the weeks pass on, Hannah begins to ask herself if Thomas is actually falling in love with her. In this story one sees into the strength of love, the weight of guilt and the ways we humans put our pieces back together.
