Varian, formerly from the kingdom of Corona, is now a young snow prince, living in a beautiful ice palace by himself after the horrible events that were brought forth between him and his dear friends: Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, Red, Yong, Angry, Nuru, and Lance, due to a great evil caused by the wicked Donella and Hector, partners in crime. The heroes have tried to bring the boy back to them, but none have prevailed. Suddenly, his boyfriend, Hugo, comes and tries to convince Varian to come live with them again. Does it work? Or will Hugo, too, fail and watch as the one he most cares about turn to the dark side, using his powers to wreak havoc on the once peaceful land?
