What is a Stack?

The collection of software and hardware used to build a website or online application is referred to as a stack. Tech stacks, solution stacks, and web development stacks are just a few of the terms that may be used to describe stacks. Stacks are made up of all the tools that web developers employ to finish a project, such as programming languages, frameworks, libraries, servers, software, etc. While developers are allowed to design their own tech stacks depending on their own requirements, some stacks, like the MERN stack, integrate so effectively that they've become industry standards.
