Peter Pan is often portrayed as a beloved character in stories, movies, and songs. However, according to Wendelin Elizabeth Darling, the great-granddaughter of Wendy Darling, Peter Pan is not what he seems. Wendelin's grandmother, Jane the 2rd, warns her about Peter Pan, advising her to run away and avoid any contact with him or his shadow. Despite Wendelin's skepticism about his existence, she agrees to heed her grandmother's warning. Eventually, Wendelin finds herself in Neverland and makes a promise to return when she is older. For a more detailed understanding of her journey, read the stories.
