One Step

It's time. That's it. Come on. You can do it. It's just one step. One step and it'll all be over. One step and it'll be done. One step and its finished.

Jake has not had a great childhood and one day he decides that he's just going to end it all. He has nothing else to live for. He doesn't see the point in being alive anymore. When he has gone for his last visit to his favourite place in the world, he meets someone who may just give him a reason to live after all.
