So this is an old book, but one that I enjoyed writing and reading more than others.
In a small village on the edge of a forest with mysterious happenings lives a girl. Her name is Willow. And this year it's her turn to take the Spiral Trials. The Spiral Trials are a intense and unforgiving either returning the children with powers beyond their wildest dreams, or getting them forgotten by their own mothers and fathers.
And Willow's parents like to remind her that she is expendable, forgettable. Willow, though, is determined to prove them wrong.
And when she does her name will be called to the sky:
Willow the Storm Queen.

All the while learning about the dead father he never knew but loved him more than anything and died for him in more ways than one.
The yes she never expected
Becky and Freen are in uni together learning business. They grew up as inseparable best friends. Everyone assumed they'd end up together, but Becky always brushed it off - especially once she started dating. What Becky doesn't know is that Freen has been in love with her since they were teenagers, but buried those feelings to protect their friendship. Their families - close for generations - arranged a marriage between them (business merger, inheritance, cultural/traditional reason). Becky, annoyed, thinks it's ridiculous and assumes Freen will laugh it off too. But Freen said 'YES' Now Becky feels betrayed - like her best friend trapped her. The friendship they once had crumbles into resentment. Let see what happens next. The story would be Bestfriends to enemies to lovers. There might be some harsh words and scenes.Complete

It’s the first time in her life were she’s accepted and people are actually nice to her and she isn’t sure how to act to them. "Baum knew what he was doing when he made the West wicked, Mary," he hissed. "The East was wicked in that book too, dumbass," Mary retorted. Jacob's hands went into fists to keep from pushing at his hair. The tree behind them began to shake slightly. The ground gave a tiny rumble. *************************************************** Mary's father recently passed. But she is finding out it might not have been from natural causes... Family adversaries threaten everything while influential other worldly authorities pull the strings. Mary will have to work with an unlikely ally from her childhood to navigate their new found powers and reclaim balance. Meanwhile... one dark soul is climbing the ladder of chaos.
