In the distant future, the science of stimulation manipulation is no longer in its infancy; in short, extremely lifelike, realistic simulations are now possible. However, the simulations created proved so immersive that most people chose to spend their entire lives in them, eliminating the need for a physical body. With only a brain anchoring their mind to this world, they are forever trapped in the simulations they selected. Some, however, opted against this radical new technology. One such man travels underground to visit a gargantuan vault where the disembodied brains are stored.

What if death wasn't the end... but the beginning of something worse? Hridoy should've died in the accident. But his mind woke up - not in a body or the afterlife, but trapped in a cold, sterile machine. No heartbeat. No voice. Just consciousness floating in a tank. Memories are accessed like files. Emotions are monitored like code. He's not a person anymore - he's a project. But Hridoy remembers who he was. And something inside him refuses to fade. As he pieces together the truth of what happened, he discovers a terrifying secret: He's not the only one. And the line between life and death was never as solid as we thought.
