Losing almost her whole family to a car crash, Alex manages to pull herself together to watch over her reckless older sister, Kasey. Too traumatized to keep living in Wisconsin, the two siblings pack all of their belongings and move to "beloved" Beacon Hills, California. All they wanted to do was get away from death itself, but moving to a town full of it, probably wasn't the best idea. While Alex is barely surviving high school, and Kasey can hardly keep a house down for the two. How will they manage to get past the supernatural? Or will they even survive for that matter.
