"Anything?" He took a step towards you, brow raised inquisitively.
You nodded, and took a step back, the books behind you surprising you as the spines poked into your back.
"What's your favorite?" He prodded further, and took another step towards you. You gulped.
"Um, I like stories, anything fiction." You whispered, unable to speak normally. He was so close to you now. Why was he making you feel like this?
You looked into his eyes, and then, without thinking, down at his lips. He smirked at your reaction, caging you in between the wall of the library and his two arms. Your eyes widened, and your breath picked up. Was he actually about to kiss you? Did you actually want him to? Just when you thought he might, he smirked playfully, and directed his attention above you, grabbing a book just above your head. He sifted through the pages, closed the book, and looked back at you.
"Cmon." He said and then realized that your back was glued to the wall. His devilish smirk grew.
"I'm sorry, did you need something, Y/n? You looked like you wanted something." You stared, dumbfounded. He was playing games. "No? Okay. Well, come on, let's show the others what we found." He smiled playfully at you, before tossing the book in your direction, and snapping you out of whatever trance he put you in.

She was a talented thief, and he was the best fighter. They thought they could change their fate. They thought they finally beat the curse of the Underground.
But sometimes, dreams remain just that. Dreams. Never to come true and forever to remain locked inside their hearts.
Their only choice? Stand proud and fight until the very end. And never regret the time spent together.

"You teach me how to fight, and I teach you how to steal. Together, we'll be invincible."
"Why are you trying so hard?" He carefully watched her.
She dryly swallowed before answering, "Because I want to get to the surface. I cannot die before I see it."
Maybe it was the inexperience of childhood, that long-forgotten innocence. Or maybe, he just wanted a friend.
Whatever it was, Levi took her hand. It was so warm, his palm tingled long after their hands separated.
"Nice to meet you, partner."
"Name's Levi."
"Levi," she drew back and hummed, his name rolling off her lips with so much ease, it almost unsettled him.
