I stood over the Empress as she looked up at me. The cold sword was pressed against her neck, causing a trail of blood to run down it. Her light violet eyes brimmed with tears as she pleaded for her life. Her blonde hair was disheveled from the previous fight.
Blood pooled on the floor from where her arm had been cut clean off, along with other parts of her body, not to mention the other bodies in the room. There was blood soaking into the bottom of my dress as she gripped my leg.
Never in my life would I have guessed that I would see this day, where the most powerful and arrogant person in the kingdom would be kneeling at my feet, pleading and crying for her life.
