Kyoko Hanako is a lovely and energetic girl who isn't shy of express herself. Sometimes she can be an airhead, but she will turn serious if her friends are in danger. She lives in the little town Hashinto together with her best friend. Aoi Tojo is a shy and smart girl who dreams of being an adventurer, but is doubting that she'll could. She might come off as a know it all, but her heart is stronger than her brain.

One day two fairies named Yinsy and Yangso arrives in the town, looking for legendary warriors, the Pretty cure. They need their help to protect everyone's inner light orbs that makes the people full of hope and dreams. The inner light orbs are in danger thanks to the dark queen Calypso and her minions, who's wants to give all light to their master. If they manage to do that, then no light will ever shine again.

So now must the girls transform into Pretty cures and fight for everyone's inner light orbs and the whole universe. Will they manage it?
