Austin has lost almost everything. On the day his girlfriend was declared missing, his whole life seemed to crumble - unable to face his family, or classmates, he has retreated further and further into himself, unable to even pick up his beloved guitar.

Then one night at a secluded, unmanned train station, he witnesses something fall from the sky and tear through the foliage of the countryside. Out of the wreckage emerges a young woman - bloodied, but otherwise uninjured. Unbeknownst to them both, their lives are about to become entangled, as she has come to carry out the will of a higher power - a power that has plans for Austin and many others - so long as she is not ensnared by darker forces, or worse still, the charm of humanity.
