The story is based on a boy named Sora who's living his average, boring life. He always wished for a spark of adventure ever since he was little but eventually gave up.

Now that he's 16 he really couldn't be bothered by anything more at this point, that is until he is plagued by extremely violent, unsettling, reoccurring nightmares. He tries to waver them away as just another creation of his wild imagination but soon realises that every time the nightmare reoccurs the more fear it invokes. 
It gets so bad at a point that he is barely able to get any sleep. His so called "wild imagination" soon decides to pay him a visit in real life. Little does he know his whole wonderful life is about to turn into a living nightmare.
