Being able to see the dead is fairly common for most people in the continent of Rivallia. Many believe it to be a blessing of sorts, to be able to commune with family members that are drifting just beyond the veil.
But there are very few that can see the Others. To be able to see the Others is akin to a death sentence for that person and their entire family. To see the Others is a curse and an omen. The Others are believed to bring death, destruction, and chaos wherever they are found.
Anna is one such person that can see the dead, but she is also more. She can see the Others. It is one secret that she must never reveal, or her entire family will be put to death.
When Others begin mysteriously appearing more often over the continent, and disaster soon follows, she begins to wonder why.
Anna will be tested in mind, body, and heart. Will she have what it takes to figure out the cause of such destruction?
