Astrid Pierce was accustomed to strange. In fact, she swam in it. You would have to with a dad who disappears for weeks or months at a time, and a very skilled stepmother who liked to go around stabbing Astrid's classmates for having fangs and horns on the full moon. Don't get me wrong. Don't give all the credit to her parents. Astrid is plenty strange herself, sometimes even more so. That doesn't mean that she is fine with going to sleep in her nice, comfortable bed then waking up in a clearing with a bug pulling her hair. She didn't expect a solider to drag her across a strange, extraordinary land because of some war that is doing nothing for her except stopping her from getting back home. The problem? Astrid has a curse that the local's call, "Nothing but trouble." She's something called a Grace. A being that's reincarnated whenever their world might end. A being that's so powerful that world peace is left for them to fight for. She is the only one left in existence. The only one left to clean up the war. Not really the best job for a 15 year old, huh? Getting home was a lot more trouble than it was before. If she even makes it home alive. War is an ugly thing. It's getting worse too. Both sides are reaching the extremes to try and win the never ending war. It's starting to look like Astrid might be the only one left that can see both sides. The only one who actually wants peace. Even if she wants to help, it doesn't mean that she has any clue how. Especially when everybody either wants you dead or wants to control you. Trust no one when everyone has their own agenda.

Pandora Wells, daughter of the Savior, is caught in two sides of a civil war. A civil war that should not be happening, since her parents are great leaders and anyone thinking otherwise has got to be insane. Course, insanity never stopped Brandon Atkins. Brandon forces Pandora and her friends to join his side, threatening anyone and everyone he can. When Zack and Treble hear of this, they immediately ship the kids to Earth to hide from Brandon so they can take care of the situation. After a few deadly mishaps, the situation is still...well, a situation. Pandora steps up and takes the role as Savior's daughter to resolve the conflict as peacefully as possible. (Yep. I still suck at this. Language warning still applies. This book concludes the series, unfortunately. Wish I could keep going... And now I'm getting sentimental...)
