Beth is depressed because she needs the money, she goes to the local park and sits there thinking about her life, cries sometimes, she usually goes to therapy every Tuesday to get her life settled out. Her favorite restaurant is Dennys because it is not that expensive and makes her feel better. Beth got a computer for Christmas from her therapy counselor and was told to use it to write down what happens every day in her life. Beth had been writing down her deepest darkest secrets in there and would cry if it ever got lost (she is an emotional person.) One day Beth was at her local Dennys and was sitting down waiting for her double quarters French fry and onion ring salad, when she was looking for local job's listings and found out that a new store was being made and would need a lot of workers. This is only the start of her journey.
