"What do we have?", squatting down to inspect the brutality mauled corpse in front of me. 

Detective Stuart, a very skittish type of man that has a habit of getting scared of everything this job throws at us. I'm not exactly sure why he chose this career if he's that skittish. All I know is something needs to change as he's still like this since joining last year and becoming my partner. Why he was assigned as my partner still puzzles me to this day. "Male, with severe injuries that look to be claw marks from some type of animal". 

"Hmm, an animal you say? it's hard to believe an animal would just brutally maul someone to death and just leave the corpse and not finish it off."

"Yes, that is what it looks like and clearly no human did this, this looks like it was done by a mo... monster..." detective Stuart said, still visibly spooked from the corpse lying in the road.

His attire was a black suit which seemed out of place considering he was standing in an alleyway. If I manage to escape I want to be confident that'd I'd be able to have this bastard put behind bars. Again if... His eyes shift, my eyes widening as his eyes turn from a dark blue to a pool of black, red veins trailing along from his pupil to the edge of his eyes. im gna be honest this is a huge work in progress, but essentially After a major traumatic event in Griffen Westons life sends him spiraling into a life he never expected, things seem beyond fixing. He had never felt so empty. But grief has a certain smell. It's a scent that attracts a certain kind of creature when you head out into the woods. His dreams tell him tales before he sees them. He watches this mysterious wisp of white hair and green cloth dart about the moss to evade him. The scent of patchouli and lavender with the pugent musk of sulfur harrasses him into submitting into this feeble attempt at following her. Or It. Whoever this person may be, they heard him calling out. They knew what he needed. He never expected to find himself so enamored with something so unique. But he didnt know how to find a way to stay away from this curiosity. TW for death, grief, suicidal ideation/tendencies later on, graphic descriptions of injury, self harm, and other possible dark themes i will brush up on. edit: wattpad deformated everything i promise it looked pretty at one point

I'm not letting you go again" he growled and I looked up at him nervously shaking my head. "Do as I say or I'll kill your pack. One. By. One" he said putting his lips to my ear "no" I whimpered and he looked at me. "I-I'll do it" I whispered and he nodded letting me go.
