In 2025, an infection swept over the world that made 2020's pandemic pale in comparison.
Now, generation after generation, the world rebuilds and repopulates; while at the same time fighting for its life against the mobs of the infected.

Four years after the apocalypse, nine year old Toby survives with nothing but his protector and caretaker, Andy, and a knife at his side. Barely remembering the world before the apocalypse, he's learned to grow up fast. However, when the duo run into Al, a twenty year old who's mixed up memories of the past are the only thing that keeps them going, his world is turned on its head.

Thirty years later, Fever and her younger brother, Hermes, having lost everything, travel the remains of what used to be New York City, looking for survivors. When they meet a group that promises them protection, they soon learn the secrets of the past, and that humans are not always much better than the infected.

A full generation after Fever's story, the world has started to rebuild. Having grown used to the infected outside their small civilizations, humans have learned to grow and adapt in the new world. But when Crown and their friend, Gloria, are thrown out of their community, they face a harsh world that they were never prepared for.

Three stories.
Three generations.
Three chances at survival.
And one apocalypse, that changed the world as we know it.... forever.

WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION There are imperfect moments in every life-but sometimes, there are perfect accidents . . . What's the point of pretending nothing has changed when everything has? It's the last summer before college, and Jonas Avery knows he should be excited. Instead, he hides out at home, avoiding his friends, his family, and everything that resembles his old life. Because nothing will be normal again-because of The Accident, when everything started falling apart. Brennan Davis knows she needs to stand up and face her anxiety-the deep, dark, debilitating dread that rules her everyday life. Because what stops her from going out into the world and just living is going to get a whole lot worse. She's leaving for college in the fall, where she'll be confronted with even more to worry about. To get back up sometimes you have to fall down, hard . . . When Jonas crashes into Brennan-in a harmless, albeit embarrassing fender bender-the two teens connect in ways they never expected. As friends, they help each other overcome their biggest falls and faults, and soon discover that while love can't fix everything, it's sometimes a place to start. Sensitive, wry, and unabashedly authentic, The Opposite of Falling Apart isn't about finding perfection in another person or fixing the things we think are broken. Instead, Micah Good has penned an enchantingly honest novel about accepting the very pieces of ourselves that make us unique, whole, and undeniably human.
