Eve is a Lycan in a world where Lycans and humans live together without the humans' knowledge. Her parents were murdered in front of her by Hunters when she was only ten. 
Hunters are humans who know about the existence of Lycans and see them as something that needs to be eliminated. 
Seven years after her parents' death, a boy Eve's age, named Alec, joins her pack after his parents were also murdered by Hunters. Both discover that they are mates upon meeting. Eve is tasked with getting Alec acquainted with the pack.
As they grow closer, Alec's past will come back to haunt him, putting him and Eve in danger.

It started as a darker version of Twilight, but I was influenced strongly by Underworld, Teen Wolf, Bitten, Vampire Diaries, and The Secret Circle. As the first of likely three novels, this is complete (but I will probably edit a hundred more times lol) and I am currently working on the second one! The Photo I used for the cover was taken by Fogbreath in 2007. I was unable to find the photographer to ask if I could use the photo, but at least it had their name on it and I can give them credit.
