Secret billionaire, Jacoby Smith meets single mother ,Melanie Williams, working as a showgirl on the strip in Las Vegas while he is visiting for vacation. Only in town for 5 days, Jacoby makes it his mission to win over the feisty showgirl who seems more interested in her job than entertaining his proposal for dinner. On the fourth day of meeting, Melanie finally gives into the man who can't seem to understand the word no, and agrees to go to dinner considering how nice he's been, and let's not forget the huge tips he's been leaving her. What Melanie doesn't know is that Jacoby is also engaged to be married, and she'll soon realize that she should have stuck with her no to his proposal for dinner. It's now too late and she's left to deal with the consequences of their actions almost 2 years later; that is, until Jacoby walks back into her life with a lot more baggage than was expected. Can these two work out the kinks in this complicated "relationship" and come together to face the future together, or will they let other people and circumstances get in the way of their possibly true happy ending...Read on to find out

Completed. Zoe Hunter is used to getting by on her own. She's used to bearing the weight of the normal responsibilities that should fall on a parent, the responsibilities that were too much for her mother to handle once her dad left. Zoe is used to her mom disappearing for a few weeks at a time. While it's not the ideal life to live, Zoe gets by in the back of her car, digging for change in between the seats when she needs money for gas. But nobody else seems to see it from her point of view. When Zoe's mom leaves and doesn't come back, it's time for an adult to step in. In the blink of an eye, Zoe finds herself moving to the opposite end of the country to live with her dad, the man who lost all credit when it was revealed that he'd been carrying on with multiple women spread across the country. Thrown into a completely unknown culture, Zoe struggles to adjust to the life she's forced to live. But is a simple change of scenery enough to change someone's character?
