Montague has been beaten down in his life; his wife is divorcing him, he's stuck in a dead-end job with no hope of climbing the latter, he's taken up old addictions and he's been kicked out of his own house. 

In these trying times, Montague has found refuge in whatever he can. Taking walks in the rain became his escape, until he stumbled upon something in an alleyway.
