Eleanor is abandoned near a human camp, lost to her family. The werewolves tried to take over and enslave what is known to the world as the strongest human camp, the capital of the human ruins and somehow a pregnant she-wolf had her baby outside the makeshift camp the werewolves mounted before attacking; in the middle of this attack Ellie was lost never to be found by werewolves again. A human family that played a major part in resisting the werewolves saved her.

Fast forward to 18 years later, the baby is all grown and very much werewolf although suppressed, her instincts begin to kick in and her urges slowly take over. A distraught Eleanor runs away from home to find out what's happening to her? It all explains why she has always been different, she needs more answers, she needs to know who she really is.

What Eleanor does not expect is coming across what the werewolves call "a mate" not just any mate "her mate" and her mate is not just any werewolf but the Alpha king's heir who's out to hunt down every human family in survival.
