Kai and Charlotte have known each other since high school and used to be together but when Kai moved to London for his football career, Charlotte was left behind in Germany.

When Kai moved away, Charlotte stopped messaging him as she didn't want to be a burden on him when he was pursuing his dreams.

Kai was upset and angry at Charlotte as he didn't know the reason she stopped messaging so he told himself he didn't care about her but he was lying to himself.

He loved her and she loved him back, they still do.

What happens when Charlotte moves to London to become a model for the big magazines and lives across the road from Kai?

Will they rekindle the love they had or will they continue to live complete separate lives?

"The moon's really beautiful, if you think about it," I blurted. "Yeah?" he asked, mild amusement and curiosity mingling in his voice. "Yeah," I confirmed. "It's just- there's something about the moon that's ethereal. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's a constant in life. You can't always see it, but you have to trust that it's out there somewhere. And when you can see it, it's all bright and shiny and overcomes the darkness." I paused, searching for the right words. "I don't know. I guess it's a reminder that there are good things out there, even if you can't see them... And it's cool to think that someone hundreds of miles away is staring at the exact same moon as you. It makes me feel not so alone in life." Turning my head, I saw him staring at me intently with a thoughtful look on his face. "Too deep for a Friday night?" I laughed nervously, feeling my face grow hot. And this was precisely why I didn't go to parties. He shook his head and seemed to snap out of his daze. "It was deep in a good way." *** SHE was quiet & left out. Kayla Everson is a 18 year old girl, who left her home to study law in Boston. She doesn't want much from life, loves being on her own. Always worked better that way. And now that she is starting this new life journey, she has only one important rule in her heart. Do not fall in love, under any circumstance. With this rule of a shield, she embarks confident in her future. On the other hand we have the genius Aaron Andrews. He is one eager, spontaneous, very determined 19 year old, who will also study law...in Boston. He is not in a search of a special someone, yet he isn't against one either. He just never really had the time to think about it. So to sum it all up, we have a girl who doesn't want love in her life, at any cost, and a guy who doesn't really care about it. I have just one question. What happens when they meet? What happens when an unexplainable strong pull, pushes them towards each-other constantly? How do they stop this undeniable feeling? Will Kayla break her rule and make an exception? (Not likely) Will Aaron give up on this new emotion he has stumbled upon? (Not likely either) He is VERY stubborn. So what happens when secrets, lies, betrayals, pasts are discovered? What happens when the Truth comes out and turns everything upside down? Because like we all know, the truth always comes out. What happens when Kayla finds herself in a horrible position, having to make the hardest decision of her life? Will she choose love or well...love? (Kinda confusing right? Yeah I know. I'm weird.) But really, what happens? (Dual pov)

In the first second that I laid my eyes on you, everything that I have ever wanted out of life flashed right before my eyes. I could envision us going on picnics, stuffing our faces until we felt sick, holding hands until there was nothing but sweat between us, and introducing you to my parents in hopes that they would love you just an ounce of the way that I loved you. I could see us fighting over the remote only to end up not paying attention to the television program at all. And most of all, I could see you meaning something special to me- being that one consistent person in my life. But that second soon ended and I did not even know your name. Avery Davenport is an artist chaos. On the outside, a girl with her head in books, paint on her fingertips, and one foot in front of the other. On the inside, a girl with hate in her heart, regret in her veins, and self-loathing in her every system. Following a tragic turn of events, she begins to spiral. A tragic and fatal ending that she didn't have the answers to completely causes her to unravel. Pain slowly begins to be masked in the beds of the boys she meets, in her dark and quiet room, and subsequently on the ledge of her dorm room balcony. She didn't believe in hope or happy endings, never having conjured up one for herself or others, not until she met him. Dean Carter is all things remarkable. On the outside, a boy with ironed clothes, hair always perfected, and an ever dashing smile that could melt one's every sorrow. On the inside, a boy with cognizance in his brain, hope in his veins, and loneliness in his heart. Everything in his life has happened according to plan. His every happiness stems from medical books, sunsets, and seeing his loved ones smile. He has never been in love, never so much as thought about a girl beyond what left her lips, not until he met her. Please read the foreword for trigger warnings and disclaimers.
